Busy with a ton of work today, and craving a decent slice of pizza since the garbage I had on Sat, I ended up ordering in for dinner tonight. I had every intention of eating about half the pizza, and saving the other half for meals later in the week but I ended up eating the entire thing.
The worst part of it was I wasn’t even really paying attention as I did it. I would absentmindedly grab a slice as I furiously coded away, my mind lost in whatever syntax error I was caught up on at the moment. before i knew it, the pizza was gone, and I suddenly became aware of just how much I’d eaten. 🙁

I have done that. Usually I’ll be reading a book, working on homework, or even watching a movie. I’ll order a pizza with every intention of having one slice, and before I know it the whole thing is gone.
The best way I found to combat this was to actually take as much of the pizza as I didn’t plan to eat, wrap it up and put it straight in the freezer. That way if I wound up eating more than I’d intended, I’d actually have to work for it. Helped a lot.
